In order to welcome Christmas in 2010, Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi will display the most expensive Christmas tree ever in the world. This most expensive Christmas tree will penetrate the world record with a value of more than U.S. $ 11 million.
40-foot-tall Christmas tree made of artificial evergreen decorated with various ornaments made of gold around it. One of the decorations is a ball of gold and silver bows and white lights illuminated the small which is a model of jewelry according to local tradition.
Not only that, General Manager of Emirates Palace Hans Olbertz, said there was also complete with decorations in the form of gemstone jewelry to add a festive Christmas tree in the super luxury hotel.
Overall, decorating Christmas tree has 181 diamonds, including diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and pearls. In the branches of trees, there are also many necklaces, bracelets and watches which gives a difference of Christmas atmosphere
